This place had a huge room with plenty of space for the two of us. The traditional Japanese style and vintage feel added a unique touch. The Japanese futon beds were surprisingly comfortable, and we loved that they could be rolled up during the day for more space. The separate toilet and bath were a great convenience, and the lounge area with a view of the sea was a delightful bonus. The staff were extremely courteous and welcoming, making us feel like they were expecting us when we arrived.
We would highly recommend this place to our friends.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with separate seating and sleeping areas. the view was stunning, and it was great to have a traditional tea set and complimentary sweets waiting for me on arrival. the location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants.
The in-room Wi-fi signal was poor in the main seating area, and the town's steep streets made it challenging when carrying luggage. the room showed signs of wear and could benefit from some updates, such as fresh paint and improved lighting in the bathroom area.

The room was very spacious, which was an unexpected surprise. The cozy sitting and lounge area with a sea view was the best part. The location was great, with the beach being a quick walk away and plenty of dining and shopping options in the area.
The room was in desperate need of renovation. The walls and surfaces were scraped, chipped, and banged up.

Our room was actually a spacious apartment with Tatami rooms and western beds. A fridge, tea kettle, and traditional treats greeted us upon arrival. the natural onsen and proximity to the beach were definite highlights.
The hotel could benefit from clearer identification on the building and surrounding area, as it can be confusing to find upon arrival.

During my stay, the hotel provided me with a lot of space in my room, with comfortable Japanese futons that were unexpectedly soft and allowed for extra space during the day. I appreciated having a separate toilet and bath, along with a seating/lounge area with views of the sea. The staff were courteous, welcoming, and provided a personal touch by showing me to my room, taking care of my bags, and leaving traditional sweets. This hotel had an amazing location, right by the beach and within walking distance to local restaurants and shops.
Nothing is perfect.
